Rachel Green
Rachel Green is the Career Coach for Neural, Cognitive, and Behavioral Sciences, and Life & Molecular Sciences. She is excited to be a part of the College of Science Career Center as she enjoys supporting and engaging with students in a multifaceted campus setting. Prior to joining the College of Science, Green spent her career as a high school mathematics teacher, student council advisor, and academic tutor. She has always had an interest in the Neural, Cognitive, and Behavioral Sciences and is excited to apply skills she has gained through her time as an educator supporting student to the College of Science, guiding them through the career and professional development process.
Green was born in New Mexico and grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas, she moved to Arizona to begin her career in education.
Green is involved in the Tucson community serving on non-profit boards and actively participates in several book clubs. On weekends you will find her leading family and friends on hikes in the beautiful mountains surrounding Tucson.
