Meet Our Career Development Coordinator

Hi! I’m V Alonso, your Career Development Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science. Think of me as your go-to person for all things careers in tech. I’m here to help you connect what you’re learning in class to real-world opportunities like internships, jobs, and graduate school.

I offer one-on-one career coaching and career readiness support designed specifically for Computer Science and AI students. We can work on resumes and LinkedIn, build internship and job search strategies, prep for technical interviews, talk salary negotiation, plan for grad school, and create a clear career action plan. If you’re earning internship credit, I’ll also help you make sure that experience counts and connects back to your goals.

Beyond appointments, I organize workshops, employer events, recruitment and outreach initiatives, and the CS Ambassador Program. My goal is to make career development feel less overwhelming, more practical, and actually useful for your future in tech.

Whether you’re just starting out, feeling stuck, or getting ready to graduate, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Come see me early, come see me often, and let’s build your path in CS together 🚀 Click here to meet with V.
