Eric Lutz named Associate Director of UArizona School of Mining & Mineral Resources
Dr. Lutz has over 30 years experience in the classroom and is a leading researcher into matters affecting the health and safety of miners.
The School of Mining & Mineral Resources at the University of Arizona is excited to announce its new Associate Director, Dr. Eric Lutz.
Lutz will also serve as the Director of the Mining Safety Center of Excellence and is the first Professor of Practice for the school. He has over 30 years experience in the classroom and as a leading researcher into matters affecting the health and safety of miners, making him a strong addition to the school and its mission.
Lutz is a skilled leadership trainer with honorable service in the U.S. Air Force and Arizona Air National Guard. His partnership with the school will allow him the opportunity to contribute more actively to the quest for solutions to the complex challenges facing the mining industry.
