Interviews are your chance to share your experiences beyond what’s on your resume or cover letter. Practicing for an interview helps you refine your responses. Leverage the resources below to craft an elevator pitch to provide a concise, compelling summary of who you are and why you're a strong candidate. Utilize the free online platform, Big Interview, to practice answering behavioral questions in a structured manner using the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result).

Job Shadow Program
The College of Science Job Shadow Program, Science Shadows, provides multiple opportunities for students to expand their knowledge about industries, job functions, and employer culture at participating organizations. Science Shadows is a low-stakes, high-value opportunity to provide students the opportunity to peek behind the curtain to view future career opportunities.
College of Science Clubs and Organizations
Get involved and build your resume by joining a College of Science Club or Organization related to your major area or interest. Each semester, students have the opportunity to meet club representatives in-person from 30+ organizations at our College of Science Club Fair.
