How’d you choose your major/minor?
I have always been interested in going into medicine due to past familial experiences with cancer and various health issues, so going into biology with a biomedical emphasis was the perfect match for achieving my goals of medical school. Biology has a lot of different opportunities for research that I can go into if I decide to change my mind on medical school. I also chose to major in Dance because the program at this school is impeccable with amazing facilities. I'm hoping to dance professionally before pursuing my medical career and this school offers a lot of great networking opportunities.
What’s your favorite spot on campus?
I have a lot of favorite spots on campus for very different reasons! If I'd have to choose, my favorite spot is the 8th floor of the Marley building. There are huge plants right by the windows that look out over the entire campus. I like to sit at the desks there and look out the windows, it's always so peaceful.
What has been the highlight of your college career thus far?
The highlight of college so far has been helping out with a dance performance at the Biosphere 2. It was the perfect way to blend both of my passions, science and dance!
