Major & Minor
Major: Neuroscience & Cognitive Science with a Neurobiology emhpasis
Minor: Classics and Biochemistry

Hometown
Maricopa, AZ

How’d you choose your major/minor?
I chose Neuroscience & Cognitive Science because of my curiosity about the brain. I had been exposed to neurodegenerative disorders when I was young and that made me deeply interested in learning more. I had always liked my science classes in high school, especially biology, but being able to specialize in my favorite part of biology excited me, leading me to choose NSCS.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
The Health Sciences Innovation Building (HSIB)! It has the BEST single study rooms, multiple rec rooms, SWINGS on the 6th floor balcony, and some of the best views of the campus and Tucson!

What has been the highlight of your college career thus far?
Studying abroad in Orvieto, Italy for a semester has been the best part of college! Getting to experience a completely new culture and force myself to be in a new and uncomfortable environment helped me grow so much. During this time I got my minor in classics and had an opportunity to engage with the humanities. I met some of my best friends there and made some incredible memories that I'll never forget!
