With over one million species currently at risk of extinction due to climate change and human activity, the CAMBIUM NRT program will serve as a hub for educating students to work across disciplines, providing them with the tools to analyze, integrate, and apply large-scale biodiversity data to develop real-world solutions.

For the first time, one of the Giant Magellan Telescope's primary mirror segments, produced at the U of A Richard F. Caris Mirror Lab, has been integrated into a support structure that will maintain the mirror's shape once mounted on the telescope.
