When
The College of Science is hosting Brunch with Bennu to celebrate the 7-year UArizona-led OSIRIS-REx mission and sample return from asteroid Bennu. Engage with planetary scientists and tour special areas of the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory (LPL). On the morning of the sample return, OSIRIS-REx co-investigator, Dr. Jessica Barnes will share mission highlights and the exciting discoveries the sample from Bennu could reveal.
Event and brunch service begins at 11:00 am with special activities and tours taking place until Dr. Jessica Barnes' presentation at 12:30 pm. NASA Press Conference and exclusive update from Dr. Dante Lauretta, OSIRIS-REx principal investigator, are tentatively planned at 1:00 pm, making this event even more extraordinary.
