Daniel Cota

Daniel Cota joined the College of Science Development team as an Administrative Assistant in May after working for a physical therapy clinic for six years. In that clinic, his passion for helping people flourished as he worked with patients every day as well as served as a Front Office Coordinator for two years. In his current role as Administrative Assistant, he serves many areas within the development office, including processing and acknowledging gifts, managing calendars, and communicating with the University of Arizona Foundation and other units.

Cota was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and is an alumnus of the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. When not supporting the College of Science Development and Alumni Office, he spends time with his wife and daughter going to the zoo, running around the park, among other fun outings. He also enjoys staying active, following sports and enjoys playing golf.
