Scholarships
There are a variety of scholarships offered and administered through the College of Science. Scholarships are available for students entering as freshman into graduate school. Selection of recipients is on a competitive basis.
The application period for College of Science (COS) scholarships is January – April of each year. The application deadline is typically April 1.
If you receive a COS scholarship, you’ll be notified during in June, via email, to your official UA email account. COS scholarships are awarded and funded to your bursar account 10 days prior to the Fall semester beginning.
If you're awarded a scholarship, you'll be asked to write a thank you letter to the generous donor who funded your scholarship. Students who were not awarded scholarships will be notified via email before the academic year begins. The email will be sent to their official UA email address.
Scholarship Universe at the University of Arizona
To apply for the scholarships in the college, please visit the scholarship matching system, Scholarship Universe, the University of Arizona's scholarship system. You can enter information about yourself and then be automatically matched to scholarships for which you're eligible and which are currently accepting applications.
